I tell sustainability stories to inspire people to take action towards a better, more just world.

Many of my life experiences have connected me with the ocean, mountains and forests, and instilled within me 

a deep respect and love for nature. I want to protect it. I've cultivated a passion for communicating issues of environmental justice and advocating for solutions that will drive sustainable development so that our earth systems, economies and all living species may mutually prosper.

As a writer I love words, but more than ever, we need louder actions. That is why I am active in organisations like Australian Marine Conservation Society, Gecko Environment Council (Gold Coast) and Plastic Free Gold Coast. I am Vice President for EdibleScapes, an urban agro-ecological food forest and demonstration garden nourishing vulnerable people in the local community. I sometimes host beach clean-ups. I live on Yugambeh Country (Gold Coast) on the east coast of Australia, and grew up in Aotearoa (New Zealand, or Earth's southern utopia).
